TREA Services is a shared services organization for startups. We offer simple, affordable, and start-up-friendly back-office services that are primarily handled digitally. These include recruiting, marketing services, accounting, customer and target group surveys, general back-office work as well as data services.

For the further expansion of the company, we are looking for key people who can further expand and harden the product offering.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a self-confident personality to coordinate and execute day-to-day business in our rapidly expanding shared service center for startups. As the Chief Operating Officer (COO), you will be in daily contact with our customers and be the first point of contact for their inquiries about our service offerings. As the business grows, you will be responsible for hiring your team members to serve more and more customers.

  • Design and optimize the core operating model of TREA Services together with the team
  • Build and document the processes needed for all the service offerings
  • Build lightweight solutions through standard tools and with the help of the development team
  • Build the internal knowledge base
  • Lead and grow the operations team
  • Make sure customers are provided with the services within the agreed SLA
  • Ultimately, you ensure that customers are super satisfied with TREA services

Qualification

You like to look for situations that take you out of your comfort zone and enjoy working in your own area of responsibility, embedded in a team. Working in a startup means constantly challenging yourself. You love personal challenges because you appreciate a steep learning curve that you can grow from.

  • Work experience of at least two years in one of the following areas: finance, accounting, project management, fiduciary, audit, FinTech, or consulting
  • Shared services or large back-office experience
  • Startup experience is an advantage
  • Ability to handle and get a variety of tasks done at a rapid pace
  • Hands-on experience in client-facing communication
  • Operational experience with a high volume of external customer inquiries and internal clarifications within the team
  • Pragmatic approach to work with a hands-on mentality
  • Structured and detail-oriented way of working
  • Fluency in German and English (French an advantage)
